Q: What is JPG?
JPG/JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) is an image file format
for storing photographic images which offers substantial reductions
in file size for an imperceptible degradation of image quality.
>Most photo editing applications, such as Photoshop or PaintShop Pro
can store images in JPG format. Usually, they allow the user to specify
the amount of compression versus the quality of the stored image.

Q: How do I save a photo in JPEG format?
1. Select Save a Copy As.. or Export in your image-editing software.
2. Select .JPG (JPEG) format. 3. Decide where on your hard drive you
want to save the image.
4. Navigate to the desired desitination by opening the folder that

Q: How can I optimize the scan quality of my images?
1. Scan only for the output device you are using. For purposes of submitting
photos to Zebco, your image may be used for the website or print,
so you can scan anywhere between 150 - 300 dpi (dots per inch).
2. Crop images to show the most relevant portion of an image.
3. Most photographic images (and other images with gradients and continuous
tones) yield best results using JPEG compression before you save the
image.
4. Avoid reopening and editing JPEG files as each time you do this,
the image quality decreases.
